CREATING A DEFINITIVELY DIFFERENT CAMPAIGN
USW operates in an extremely competitive local undergraduate market, where it has historically been viewed as an insurance choice by many prospective students. The University was looking to project a more confident, dynamic, and distinctive brand presence, and align its overarching brand message with course-level creative and the aspirational needs of today’s students. This required a bold campaign to leverage the University’s foundational strength in immersive, hands-on teaching, emphasise its practical, career-focused education, and create greater appeal among students beyond the immediate region.
Having spent a lot of time on USW’s campuses, our creative team understood what the buzz of studying there could feel like. To harness this excitement, we developed the bold and aspirational creative concept “Get in on the Action” – designed to reflect USW’s dynamic approach to teaching and its focus on real-world learning.
